Sometimes ordinary things we take for granted can take on piercing new meaning, shake us out of complacency, and change forever our understanding. The documentary film Water by Barb Barton and the eponymous song featured in it will undoubtedly do that for you. The film and the song were inspired by Ms. Barton's deep personal relationships with people whose lives were devastated by the contamination of Flint, Michigan's municipal water supply. Even if you think you already know enough about the Flint water saga, this film will provide the kind of intimate story that you won't find elsewhere. This is one you won't want to miss. The film features a musical performance of the song Water by Barton and Flint’s extraordinary community gospel choir Albert Strickland and Cho’zen.
